Qingdao is a major city in eastern Shandong Province, Eastern China famous for its German style architecture and history, as well as its beer. It is a major seaport, naval base, and industrial center, and has the longest sea bridge in the world.
Qingdao is known as one of the best cities to live in China. It is a seaside city surrounded by mountains and benefits from a temperate climate and good air quality. According to an old saying, Qingdao is as a city of "red tiles, green trees, blue sky and blue sea".
Many festivals are celebrated throughout the year, among them: the famous Beer Festival, the Ocean Festival, Qingdao Turnip Fair and Qingdao Candied Haw Fair. Of course, you will be able to celebrate traditional Chinese Holidays as well, including Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival.
